WONDR Experience The Art of Play is an immersive experience combining magical visual effects and limitless creativity. A world of colours and sensations that will invite you to play and explore, regardless of your age. This strange but fun attraction in Amsterdam was designed together with the city’s most creative minds, and according to the operators it is something you have never seen before: it is a place that evokes inspiration, imagination and joy.
Inside, you’ll follow a one-way path where you’ll have the chance to swim in a sea of pink marshmallows, dance under a glowing sky, write on walls, dive into a huge ball pool and much more.
Let’s start with the simple things: WONDR Experience is an indoor attraction for adults and kids alike; during the tour you will pass through surreal rooms in bright colours, created by local and international artists. It is a truly unique place in Amsterdam: it is a colourful sensory experience that will bring out the child in you. The whole thing is fun and carefree: room after room you will discover games, challenges and colours, and of course you will have the chance to take great photos.
The WONDR Experience is a perfect destination for families, groups of friends and couples on holiday in Amsterdam, and being totally indoor it is also a great alternative for a fun day out in the city when it rains.
Next to the facility proper are two ancillary offerings: these are the Pink Beach restaurant/cocktail bar and the Roller Dreams skating rink. The latter can be accessed with a 25% discount if you have the I Amsterdam City Card.
To enter the WONDR Experience you need to purchase an entrance ticket. Please note that this cannot be purchased on site, it must necessarily be bought online before departure.
Children under 2 years of age get in for free, while there are reductions for younger children. The WONDR Experience can also be used as an original venue for parties or celebrations: special tickets are available for birthdays or hen parties.
When purchasing your ticket, you must specify the time of your visit; it is not necessary to arrive in advance. In case you are too early, or on the contrary late, the staff at the entrance will assist you to find the next available time.
WONDR is also designed for young children. Children under the age of 13 can enter at any time, provided they are accompanied by an adult, while children under the age of 10 can only enter during certain time slots, called ‘kids time’. Again, each child must be accompanied by an adult.
Kids Time is from 12:30 to 17:30 on Wednesdays, and from 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. During the Christmas holidays, Kids Time operates daily from 10:00 to 12:00. Once inside, the maximum stay is 2 hours.

WONDR Experience is located at Meuwenlaan 88, in the Amsterdam-Noord area, less than 10 minutes from Central Station. The best way to get there is by metro: the Noorderpark station on line 52 is only a 5-minute walk from the entrance.
Reaching the WONDR Experience by car is no problem, just point your navigator to Meeuwenlaan 88, head north through the IJ Tunnel and in a few minutes you will be at your destination. There are many public car parks in the area, so parking will not be a problem. In this area of Amsterdam, the rate is EUR 1.30 per hour, so also quite cheap. Using the ParkMobile app to pay for parking, the codes for the area are 19616 and 19614.
Alternatively, you can also take the free ferry from the forecourt behind the central station towards IJplein, the crossing of which only takes 5 minutes, and proceed on foot with a short walk of just over 10 minutes.
The WONDR Experience The Art of Play is located at Meeuwenlaan 88, in the northern part of Amsterdam, in a colourful pink building.
