Eindhoven Airport

Eindhoven Airport (EIN) is located 7 kilometres from the city centre and is the second busiest airport in the Netherlands after Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Eindhoven Airport is located about 120 kilometres south of Amsterdam and is the main gateway to the country for low-cost flights.

The airport has a modern terminal and is used as a hub by the airlines Ryanair and Transavia.

Connections to Amsterdam

Eindhoven Airport is well connected to the centre of Amsterdam. To get to the capital of the Netherlands, you can choose from several solutions:

• Rental cars. You can pick up your rental car at the agency counters directly inside the airport and then drive along the A2 motorway. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
• AirExpressBus. This bus connects Eindhoven Airport with Amsterdam Central Station without intermediate stops. The journey takes 1h 45 minutes.
• Terravision. This bus connects Eindhoven Airport and Amsterdam with an intermediate stop in Utrecht.
• Train. You can reach Eindhoven train station with a local bus and from there travel by Intercity to Amsterdam Central Station.
• Taxi. Taxis run between Eindhoven Airport and Amsterdam but the price is not the cheapest.
